Business Administration

The Department of Business Administration in the banner of Faculty of Business Studies at Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) is doing their operation from 2014. The Department of Business Administration at NDUB is the largest department at NDUB and the department has been offering undergraduate and graduate programs in Business Administration since its inauguration. Since its inception, this Department has been playing a dominant role in offering quality business education to the students and executives strive to equip themselves with up-to-date knowledge. The ultimate goal of the Department is to provide students with an integrated and practical approach to understanding current business practices and educate them to think from outside the box.

However, the ultimate objectives of Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) are not only to create business leaders and entrepreneur but also to make the students aware about ethical and social responsibilities. This is the prime specialty of Notre Dame that we just not provide good education but value based education to form the whole person.

The Department of Business Administration is the largest department of Notre Dame University Bangladesh and presently the department runs four important degree programs:

At present the department offers four majors in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in a wide range of field such as-

  • Marketing
  • Accounting
  • Management/HRM

One of the special features of the department is that it has a blend of well-experienced teachers with foreign exposure, a galaxy of young, energetic faculty members, quite a good number of nationally and globally renowned teachers of University of Notre Dame (USA), University of Dhaka, Jahangirnagar University who are professionally dedicated to teaching the students of Business Administration at Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB). Research and teaching are the prime objective of this department. The curriculum encourages the students to sharpen their analytical and communication skills, placing a balanced emphasis on qualitative and quantitative approach.

The campus is vibrant with activities. There are many opportunities for getting involved in extra-curricular activities at Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB). The instructors may be demanding, yet are very friendly and helpful and so are all the staff and support people. When you need help, there will be help for you.

    Chairperson & Coordinator, BBA & MBA Program

    Parimal Chandra Datta passed his childhood days in Manikganj, Bangladesh where he was born and brought up. He pursued his elementary, secondary and higher secondary education in his home town Manikganj.

  • S. M. Feroj Mahmood
    Senior Lecturer

    Mr. S M Feroj  Mahmood was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and had his early education in Dhaka. He completed his SSC from Motijheel Model High School &College and HSC from Notre Dame College.

  • Kamol gomes
    Senior Lecturer

    Kamol Gomes was born in Pabna, Bangladesh and had his early education in Dhaka (Notre Dame College), HSC in 1991 and M.Com Degree (Management) in 2000 from Chittagong University, Chittagong, and M. Phil.

  • Ranet John Paul Gomes

    Ranet Gomes was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He went to Dhaka Residential Model College and passed S.S.C. in 1999. After that, he got admitted into Notre Dame College, and passed H.S.C. in the year 2001.

  • Md. Zahead Kamal

    Md. Zahead kamal was born in Chandpur, Bangladesh had his early education in Dhaka. He was the second boy in business studies group in national bank public school and college. He completed his H.S.C. from Notre Dame College.

  • Moushumi Haque

    Moushumi Haque was born in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Her career objective is seeking a teaching position with renowned institution where training and skills in active teaching methodologies will be fully utilized in order to provide students with positive learning Experience.

  • Tazia Hossain

    Tazia Hossain was born in Narayangonj, Bangladesh and she had her early education in Narayangonj (Narayangonj Govt. Girls’ High School then Narayangonj Govt. Mohila College).

  • Surajit Kumar Mondal

    Mr. Surajit Kumar Mondal was born in Faridpur, Bangladesh and had his early education in Faridpur. He completed his S.S.C from Alfadanga A.Z Pilot High School and he was the first boy in business studies group in Alfadanga A.Z Pilot High School. He completed his H.S.C.

    Tanzia Rahman was born in Feni, Bangladesh. She completed her early education in Dhaka: S.S.C from Siddeshwari Girls High School & H.S.C from Dhaka City College. She obtained BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Dhaka.

  • Afrista Birjis

    Afrista Birjis was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and she has completed her early education from Viqaunnesa Noon School & College, Dhaka.  She has completed her BBA & MBA in Marketing from University of Dhaka.

  • Md. Anamul Haque

    Md. Anamul Haque was born in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh and grew up in Dhaka. He spent his school days at Sher-e Bangla Nagar Govt. Boys High School and passed SSC from this school in 2009.

  • Md. Kamrul Islam

    Md. Kamrul Islam was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and had his early education in Shamsul Haque Khan School & College and Dhaka City College. He obtained BBA (major in Finance) and MBA from University of Dhaka.

  • Aziza Akhter

    Aziza Akhter was born in Chittagong. She has completed her SSC from Agrabad Balika Bidayaloy with GPA-5.00 and H.S.C from Government College of Commerce with GPA-5.00, (Chittagong Board).
