Tasnim Kabir was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She passed B.Sc. with Honors in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2017. She is currently pursuing Master of Science (M.Sc.) in CSE from the same university.
She passed S.S.C. from Viqarunnisa Noon School (2009) and H.S.C. from Viqarunnisa Noon College (2011).

She performed her undergraduate research work under Dr. Md. Yusuf Sarwar Uddin, Associate Professor, CSE, BUET on “Design and Implementation of Big Active Data for Mobile Users”. In her BUET life, she received Dean Scholarship and University Merit Scholarship. She received Education Board Scholarship for securing GPA 5.00 in both H.S.C and S.S.C. examinations. She also received both Junior and Primary Scholarships. 

She is broadly interested in computer systems and networking. Her specific interest is in efficient use of big active data, implementing active database and implementation of those systems in a mobile platform.

She is currently teaching as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB).
